KLANG'S FAMOUS PORK RIB DISH

BAK KUT TEH

The famous "Bak Kut Teh"

Bak Kut Teh is a dish with only pork and herbs along with Chinese Tea, but it comes in many forms. The name literally translates from hokkien dialect as "meat bone tea". Despite its name, there is in fact no tea in the dish itself; the name refers to a Chinese Tea which is usually served alongside the soup which can dilute and dissolve the copious amount of fat that has consumed in this pork-laden dish.

Bak Kut Teh could be strong and intense, or light and soupy. It could come in a humble bow with only pork, or it could come in a claypot of goodies. The locals will guide you to the best Bak Kut Teh restaurant they have in Klang and make sure you will never forget the taste of Bak Kut Teh.
